Tiong Seng Recognised for Workplace Safety and Health

Tiong Seng emerges as a big winner in this year’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Awards dinner for its commitment and exemplary standards in WSH.

Presented by the WSH Council and supported by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), the WSH Annual Awards celebrates the best in workplace safety and health, and recognizes deserving winners on a national level. Tiong Seng bagged eight awards this year, comprising three Safety and Health Award Recognition for Projects (Sharp), two WSH Practices Awards, one WSH Innovation Award and two WSH Supervisor Awards.

Volari, Shelford Suites and Raffles City Underground Linkway & Basement Addition & Alteration Works are three projects that won the SHARP awards - a prestigious award that gives recognition on project level. This accolade is a testament of Tiong Seng’s commitment in good safety and health performance.

In recognition for implementing innovative risk control solution that is effective in eliminating hazards, Tiong Seng won itself a WSH Practices Award each for its NUS Kent Vale and The Wharf Residence project. Its Treehouse project also won a silver in WSH Innovation Awards which is an industry-level innovation award evaluated by the Singapore Contractors Association Limited. Two of Tiong Seng's supervisors were announced the WSH Supervisor Award winners for their unwavering dedication in improving the WSH performance in the workplaces.
